With at least 7,000 anti-Muslim hate crimes a year, systemic discrimination against Muslims in the workplace and relentless media negativity, there has never been a more important time to attend a MEND event and to learn more about tackling Islamophobia. Treasure Hunt
Do you enjoy fun and educational experiences? Are you inquisitive? The Ealing Outreach group from MEND is organising a treasure hunt opportunity during the Islamophobia Awareness month. This campaign will raise awareness about the effects of Islamaphobia on British Muslims but also learn about how Islam has shaped some of Britain key infrastructures.
Islamophobia Exhibition at Leeds City Museum
Muslim Engagement & Development (MEND) will be presenting its MEND Islamophobia Exhibition for the very first time at Leeds City Museum. The exhibition will be held during Leeds City museum event titled "A City and its Welcome: Three Centuries of Migrating to Leeds". The exhibition is completely free and you can find the exhibition on the lower ground of the museum in the Thoresby Room.

Celebrating Muslim Women in Bradford
As part of Islamophobia Awareness Month 2019 we are bringing together four of Bradford's brilliant Muslim women to discuss their achievements, experiences and struggles throughout their lives. What is Islamophobia – Atkins Lunch and Learn
Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies. MEND will be working with Atkins BAME network in order to host a Lunch and Learn session, where the staff members of Atkins will have the opportunity to discuss Islamophobia and a Q&A session.
