Islamophobia training with Hertfordshire student union

On 29th January, Hertfordshire student union (SU) invited MEND to deliver training around Islamophobia and the Muslim community to 40 members of its staff. The session delved into critical topics, including perceptions, biases, defining Islamophobia, and addressing workplace discrimination.

Conversations centered on breaking down stereotypes, challenging biases, and creating an inclusive environment for all. The event aimed to not only define Islamophobia but also to equip attendees with the tools needed to identify and combat discrimination within the workplace.
