About this event:

Mending Communities, an initiative to support reverts, welcomes you to Rise & Release. This evening will encompass talks to deepen your recognition of emotional and psychological abuse, motivational talks on releasing yourself from abuse, workshops to empower yourself and a Q&A session with all speakers. Whether you are  a revert suffering from Islamophobic rejection by family or you / someone you know is struggling with domestic abuse; join Mending Communities for an evening that aims to bring solace and support.

Guest speakers:

Alba Sandobal: Qualified  Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and  a Master Coach of NLP.

Rahmanara Chowdhury: Author of ‘Qawwamoon, Protectors and Maintainers’, specialist in Domestic Abuse Counselling and faith based DV recovery.

Hina Jenejo: Cognitive Behavior Therapy and NLP coach, Qualified Life Coach and TV presenter
