About this event:
A session for you to understand how the counter terrorism policy impacts your masjids and community centres. Hosted by Dr Fahid Qurashi, a researcher on the Prevent Strategy.
The workshop will look at the following
• The remit / role of local Prevent officers.
• How Prevent accesses the Muslim community to gain intelligence.
• How Prevent is used to co-opt Muslim leaders / activists on to official circles in order to gain their confidence.
