About this event:

A must-attend for those who are sick and tired of the negative portrayal of Muslims in media and film.

Inspired by Riz’s Ahmed’s 2017 diversity-on-screen speech in the House of Commons, and the Bechdel test, the Riz Test seeks to quantify the extent to which films perpetuate negative stereotypes of Muslims as violent, extreme, or superstitious. Based on five criteria, films either fail or pass the Riz test.

Come along and meet the founders of the Riz test, how it works, and how you can participate!

Entry is free of charge. Registration prior to the event is essential

Refreshments will be provided.
