International Women’s Day Bake-A-Long

🧁 Join MEND Cardiff on Wednesday 10th March 2021 at 2:00pm for a Bake-A-Long where we will be making 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Welsh Cakes🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿while discussing our experiences as Muslim women and what International Women’s Day means to Muslim women today.🧁

🥣 Ingredients and Utensils List:

• 225g Self Raising Flour

• 85g Caster Sugar

• ½ Teaspoon of mixed spice or allspice (optional)

• 100g butter cut into pieces

• Plus some extra butter for frying

• 50g of currants

• 1 egg beaten

• A small amount of milk

• A mixing bowl

• A rolling pin

• A round biscuit cutter

• A large frying pan or bakestone
