Aston University Exhibition

During November Mend’s Islamophobia Exhibition came to the university, to coincide with Islamophobia awareness month 2017 (IAM2017).  The exhibition was held  at the entrance to the student union.  Many hundreds of students came and saw the exhibition, Muslim and non-Muslim.  Many of the non-Muslim students were surprised at the statistics of just how much Islamophobia was prevalent in Britain.  Some of the Muslim female students recounted their own experiences with Islamophobia.

The exhibition was a good opportunity for dialogue and discussion between Muslims and others around Islam, British Muslims and Islamophobia.
