Wakefield, Stronger Together Event with Mary Creagh MP

Our Wakefield team organised their first major event at the Lightwaves Liesure Centre attracting over 60 members of the local Muslim and local members of the wider communities. Our special guest Mary Creagh MP expressed how she wants to work across all communities to end hatred and decisive politics and help our communities become more open, affectionate and welcoming. We also delivered a keynote presentation on Islamophobia, its causes and cures alongside highlighting the positive contribution of Muslims to the UK.
