Train the Presenter- Soft Skills Session for Volunteers

On Friday 21st May 2021 and Sunday 6th June 2021, MEND launched their Soft Skills program for volunteers, including a ‘Train the Presenter’ session.
The session (s) was delivered by the Midlands Regional Manager, Robina Ruby Begum at MEND which covered the following:

Key Skills:
- Preparing Yourself
- Presenting
- Engaging Your Audience
- The Round-Up (summarising your session)
What you will gain:
- Confidence
- Practical tools you can use when presenting
- Skills to plan and deliver a presentation effectively.
The session was attended by over 25 volunteers across the UK who appreciated the efforts taken by MEND to upskill our volunteer’ leaders to great heights!
