SUTR National Trade Union Conference Prevent Workshop

Stand Up To Racism held a large scale conference in partnership with trade unions in order to shed light on discrimination that occurs within the workplace.

MEND were invited to speak as part of the Prevent workshop to highlight its shortcomings within the workplace. The room was full with guests stood in the doorway as the 30 minute workshop continued. The audience asked questions mainly around how to tackle the spread of Prevent in their workplace.

The members of various unions left with a sense of confidence to take a stand against unjust and intrusive policies in the workplace.
