New Muslim Gathering – Green Lane Masjid

This April, Mending Communities, Solace UK and Islamwise hosted a New Muslim’s gathering at Green Lane Masjid, Birmingham.

Sisters gathered in a cosy area of the masjid to listen to a talk on ‘A Revert’s Loyalty; Family vs Friends’. The topic covered the difficulties of saying ‘no’ to family members, the guilt this can carry and the blessings of having good friends to support you in your deen.

A reminder on the blessings of Ramadhan was also delivered, covering the basics for New Muslim’s to learn and be motivated.

It was a truly blessed gathering with love, sincerity and no gathering is complete without tea, a large platter of rice with meat and a cupcake to end!
