MEND Birmingham has been working on their GOAV plans!
This year with the upcoming Police Crime Commissioner (PCC) and West Midlands Mayoral (WMCA) Elections coming up the team has come together with other West Midlands Working Groups including Black Country, to plan and host a series of events and hustings with the wider community and the candidates.
The team over the weekend delivered a GOAV partner meeting inviting over 10 Muslim organizations across the West Midlands area, to discuss the elections coming up, the importance of voting, the power of voting, and also the elected and the candidates who are up for election and how they can get involved and get more information.
