Jami Mosque and Islamic Centre in Birmingham: Uniting against islamophobia

As part of the ongoing campaign, Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM). Shaykh Mohammad Shahid Ullah Azhari delivered a sermon last Friday at Jami Mosque and Islamic centre, discussing its importance. The campaigns aim is to educate and raise awareness in the community and we are able to reach so many through events and collaborations just like these.
Shaykh Mohammad Shahid Ullah Azhar brought light to the key issues we face as muslims in the wider community and explained ways in which these can be tackled in an appropriate and effective manner.

- To educate yourself and others on the hate crimes we do face as Muslims and how these can be tackled respectfully.
- Get involved in community actions and organisations, tackling Islamophobia to present unity and importance of the issue.
