MEND Cardiff organised stalls and delivered a Islamophobia resilience workshop as part of well-being week at Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC) for learners and staff on Friday 18th of May 2018. The learners learnt about what to do if they have been subject to hate crime or witness one. They also learnt about what to do after the hate crime and what services they can access for help and support. The workshop consisted of a play whereby learners and staff acted different roles from police officer, victim to witness and perpetrator. The learners enjoyed the interactive play and developed a better sense of empathy as well as felt more resilient in the face of Islamophobic hate crimes.
