MEND in Newport was launched back on the 12th of Aug 2017 and has now organised their first event in collaboration with Young Muslim & Community Organisation (YMCO). The event was about the causes and cures of Islamophobia that aimed to raise awareness about the new racism which is Islamophobia and highlighted the ways of tackling it.
The participants learnt the root causes of Islamophobia and the ways of working together to make Islamophobia history in the city of the Chartist movement.
