Islamophobia Awareness Month 2020: Yorkshire and the Humber Launch

During the first week of Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) 2020 MEND Yorkshire held their IAM Launch webinar. This event was the first of many upcoming events organised by the Yorkshire and Humber team as part of the campaign.
A wide variety of guests joined our hosts, Mohammed Abubakar and Amina on the evening of Thursday 5th November. The event aimed at showcasing the work MEND does locally in the region in various sectors, it also provided our esteemed guests the opportunity to talk about how their work relates to Islamophobia and what kind of action they believe needs to be taken going forward to remedy this phenomena.
