Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND) in collaboration with Swansea Mosque and Islamic Community Centre, relaunched Swansea working group on 14th of October 2017 and presented Islamophobia: Action for Change.
Speakers included; Ali Hammuda who spoke about Islamophobia at the time of the prophet (PBUH) and how he dealt with it, Ali Abdi spoke about discrimination in workplace and ethical recruitment and finally Sahar Al-Faifi who spoke about the Causes and Cures of Islamophobia. The event was successful and created an interest to join the growing MEND working group in Swansea.
