International Women’s Day – Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)

MEND regional manager Sahar Al-Faifi was invited to speak in London, on the 6^th of March 2019 at an event organised by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Muslim Network. The event was taking place at the Ministry of Justice and was titled “Faith in Success” that aimed to inspire, motivate, educate and empower women of all faiths and backgrounds to be themselves, own their identities and narratives, achieve their goals and make a positive change. The panel included Jasqant Kaur Narwal – Chief Crown Prosecutor, Farah Al-Sader – Manager at the Fininical Decisions and Analysis, Judge Hina Rai – Judge of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, Sultana Tafadar – International Human Rights Barrister, Baljit Ubhey – Director of Prosecution Policy and Inclusion and Jean Ashton OBE – Director of Business Services.
