Informed and Empowered: Guidance on Palestine Activism at Masjid At-Taqwa

Masjid Taqwa hosted an informative event in collaboration with MEND (Muslim Engagement and Development) on Thursday, 9th November. The event, attended by around 80 people, served as a rallying point for the community to come together and learn how to support the Palestinian cause.

The evening was marked by an engaged audience and a highly interactive session. Participants were not mere spectators; they were active contributors to the dialogue surrounding the ongoing struggles faced by the Palestinian people. The atmosphere was charged with a shared sense of purpose, fostering a collective commitment to make a positive impact.

MEND provided valuable insights into effective and responsible ways of supporting the Palestinian cause. Abdullah Saif, MEND regional manager for Midlands and Wales, addressed the complexities of the situation and highlighted the importance of informed and strategic advocacy.
