Discover Islam Week Exhibition at LSE

Discover Islam Week, also known as DIW, is an Islamic awareness campaign focusing on enlightening our communities about Islam in general. Because of this great initiative, MEND were able to use this week to display its flagship exhibition, which has historically been extensively displayed and exhibited in November during Islamophobia Awareness month.

The exhibition demonstrates some of the great work done by British Muslims and the contributions they are making to the wider society.

The Central London Working Group, successfully displayed the exhibition across several top London universities during IAM2017, namely, SOAS, UCL, Kings College London and Queen Mary.

During Discover Islam Week 2018, LSE, displayed the exhibition from the 5^th to the 9^th of Feb, this enabled the content of the exhibition to be conveyed to students and staff at LSE. Along with the core principles and tenets which are highlighted during this month, the exhibition provided a different perspective to this week, where prominent British Muslim faces were showcased for their great achievements and accomplishments they have made.
