Causes and Cures of Islamophobia: Jamea Masjid

On 15^th November, MEND delivered their Cause and Cures Workshop to a large group at Jamiah Masjid in Preston.

The presentation highlighted the work of MEND and illustrated how the Muslim community can take an active role in tackling Islamophobia. Attendees spoke about how the presentation had allowed them increase their knowledge on the issues surrounding Islamophobia and how they could take practical steps towards addressing these issues.

Many people in the audience also took up the opportunity to volunteer for the Preston Working Group, allowing them to continue their education and make changes in the local community.
