Cardiff Central Library stall – Refugee Week

On the 22nd June, Cardiff WG were at Cardiff Central Library with MEND resources to share with vulnerable service users and other organisations commemorating Refugee Week. MEND thanks Cardiff Central library and the Welsh Refugee Council for giving us the opportunity to share our invaluable resource with the community and engage in interesting conversations about culture, our identities and what more  we can do to support vulnerable communities against discrimination.

Another wonderful opportunity for our Cardiff volunteers to highlight the widespread Islamophobia that exists in the UK and how the negativity in the media has warped perceptions and ostracised Muslims, refugees and many other minorities.
