Belgian Students’ Meeting

The Mahara group, consisting of Belgian Muslim students, made a trip to the UK to visit a number of Muslim organisations who  encourage civil engagement.  All 3 of our departments (community development, policy  and victim support) shared what they do and how it contributes towards tackling Islamophobia. The students went away with a better understanding of how they can help empower their Muslim communities in Belgium and challenge Islamophobia in their context.
