On Saturday 26th March 2022 MEND Scotland hosted a stall at Saint Albert’s Primary School and Ahl Al-Bait Society Scotland Spring Eco Fayre. The event which was a packed one, had stalls and representatives from the environmental sector, third sector and civic society organisations in attendance. Participants numbered well over 600 individuals who were there to enjoy the fun-filled program which included football matches for all and other sporting events.
Nicola Sturgeon MSP Scotland First Minister was there to present the prizes to the winners of the sporting events and interact with all in attendance. Spending lots of time making sure all families and little ones managed to get in a wee picture.
At the event MEND interacted with many participants and organisations, including Police Scotland, several Third Sector organisations and set firm plans to work with the host school moving forward.
Overall an excellent event.
