Welcome to Reading Mend Working Group.

Our focus here in Reading is to establish strong working relationships with the Police, other faith groups and all of the local Masajid.

We have a strong working relationship with the police and our representatives sit on the Hate Crime Scrutiny Committee and their Interfaith group.  In the fight to challenge Islamophobia and anti-Muslim prejudice our team has been meeting senior member of the local churches to work together.  Recently our chair gave an engaging presentation on the challenges Muslims face to a packed Dioceses meeting of the Berkshire churches.  We also recently spoke at the mayors parlour for an interfaith gathering of all faiths in Reading.
