The Portsmouth News reports that two men arrested on suspicion of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment or distress, after a pig’s head bearing a swastika was found at the Madani Academy, have been re-bailed.
A pig’s head with a swastika drawn on it and the word “Allah” daubed in black marker pen was found tied to the gate of the Portsmouth based Muslim school earlier this year.
The incident, which occurred in January saw police arrest two men aged 22 and 24. They were arrested in March and bailed to appear before magistrates on 29 April.
The local paper reports the two men have been re-bailed and are due to appear before the court on Friday 22 July.
