ENGAGE is working with the newly elected Police and Crime Commissioners to get police forces across England and Wales to record hate crime against Muslims with a specific crime flag. Currently the Metropolitan Police Service and Greater Manchester Police record Islamophobia with a specific crime flag ‘Islamophobia’.
