Police investigate possible hate crime at Rugby Club

The Derbyshire Times reports on a police appeal for witnesses in a suspected hate crime after vandals sprayed the word “Islam” and a Star of David on the grounds of the Chesterfield Panthers Rugby Club.
The graffiti was discovered in a playing area at the club and police are investigating a possible hate crime motive.
The local paper reports the incident took place “sometime between 9.30am on Thursday, January 22, and 9.30am, on Thursday, February 5.”
