MEND Press Release: British Muslims shocked by attack on Mu’adhin at Regents Park mosque

British Muslims are shocked to hear of the stabbing of a Mu’adhin (man who calls to prayer) at Regents Park Mosque earlier today. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. We utterly condemn this attack whilst we wait for further details to emerge. 

Understandably the Muslim community will be shaken by this incident which calls into sharp focus whether mosque security is being financed appropriately.
