Man sentenced for racist incident at Oxford health centre

The Bicester Advertiser reports on the sentencing of a man convicted of criminal damage, possession of a Class B drug, and racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress at the Nuffield Health Centre in Oxford on 20 September.
Scott Hadlow, 36, admitted damaging a computer screen worth between £2,000 and £3,000 belonging to the Nuffield Health Centre, possessing cannabis and causing racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress to Esmail Hanif at the Nuffield Health Centre last month.
Hadlow appeared before Oxford magistrates’ court where he was handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement. He was also ordered to pay £1,100 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and a £150 fine.
