Scottish newspaper, The Herald, reports on the court appearance of a man charged with behaving in a threatening and abusive manner after he “unleashed a racist tirade outside a Scottish mosque shortly after soldier Lee Rigby was hacked to death in London”.
The paper reports that Grant Gallagher, 54, grabbed the gates of the mosque in Livingston, West Lothian, and shouted words of abuse including “you terrorists killed him”.
Gallagher pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at Livingston Sheriff Court. Sheriff Martin Eddington “deferred sentence for community payback order reports on Gallagher’s unpaid work, and tagging”, according to the paper.
