The Huddersfield Examiner reports on how Mr. Perry Booth has been taken to court after allegedly using racial slurs against an estate agent.
The incident occurred on the 22nd of April 2016 at Reeds Rains Estate Agents in Dewsbury.
The prosecutor, Mr Andy Wills, told Kirklees Magistrates’ Court that Mr Booth’s alleged racist rant was because he did not appreciate the deal that was offered to him by the estate agent.
Mr Booth alleged accused the staff member of robbing people and said: “You f*****g p**i c**t, I will destroy you”.
Mr Booth denies the charge levied against him of using racially or aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent.
He accepted that he had been at the estates agent at the time of the incident; however, denied the use of racial slurs.
The trial will be held on the 20th of September at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
