EDL to protest outside Huddersfield court tomorrow

The Huddersfield Examiner reports on a planned English Defence League demonstration in the town tomorrow when 25 men will appear before Calderdale magistrates’ court on a range of sex crime offences.
The EDL have previously posted news reports from the Halifax Courier about the arrest of the 25 men, one of whom is believed to be from Huddersfield. Needless to say, the Pakistani Asian identity of the 25 men appears to have galvanised the far right group in ways similar to protests organised in Rochdale in June 2012, Keighley in August 2012 and Stevenage, Middlesbrough and Rotherham last year.
At last week’s EDL demonstration in Dudley one supporter of the far right group told BBC News that the movement did not comprise “racist thugs”. Which would be more convincing if the EDL took to protesting outside courts when the likes of Rolf Harris, Stuart Hall and Gary Glitter were being tried for child sex offences wouldn’t it?
