Join the protest called by the Stop the War Coalition, Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the Muslim Association of Britain, to ‘End The Blockade of Gaza, Stop Arms Sales To Israel, Bring War Criminals To Justice and Free Palestine’ on Saturday 24 January. Demonstrators will gather at BBC offices to protest against the corporation’s refusal to air a Gaza fundraising appeal and its giving far more airtime to Israeli spokespersons rather than providing balanced and fair coverage of the bombing and invasion of Gaza. |
Complain to the BBC on its decision to refuse the Disasters Emergency Committee fundraiser appeal on Gaza here or telephone the BBC on: 03700 100 222. Ask why it has refused this appeal given the severity of the situation in Gaza and ask why other appeals have been permitted without objection.
Demonstration details: Assemble 2pm, BBC Broadcasting House, Portland Place, London, W1A 1AA
The march will proceed to Trafalgar Square via Downing Street. Nearest Tube stations are Regents Park and Great Portland Place.
