Daily Star on MAC "Sharia Angels"

The Daily Star goes in search of a new Muslims Against Crusades story and finds it in Anjem Choudary’s latest brainwave, “Islamic “Guardian Angels”” to bring Sharia law to the UK.” The website and newspaper carry a picture of DS reporter Dominik Lemanski interviewing Choudary for the “story”.

Former Daily Star journalist Richard Peppiatt’s account of the newspaper’s indulgence of the group Muslims Against Crusades came to light earlier this year when Peppiatt revealed the nature and extent of the paper’s biased attitude to coverage of news stories on Muslims, including its obsessive relationship with MAC, in his letter of resignation.
