Cumbria police investigate after takeaway workers racially abused

The North West Evening Mail reports on a police investigation following a suspected racist incident at a kebab shop in Barrow-in-Furness.
The local paper reports police are investigating an incident at the Hot Potato takeaway and kebab shop on William Street on Friday 12 August where “staff were racially abused by someone inside the shop” at “some point” in the evening.
Cumbria police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
