MEND calls for ALL MPs to support an unequivocal ceasefire to the fighting in Gaza, an end to the humiliation and arbitrary arrest of Palestinians, a removal of all illegal Israeli settlements. Israel should be held to account for all its violations of international law. No ifs, no buts, CEASEFIRE NOW. Any politician or political party that can’t support this call now, without quibbles, after 30,000 have been slaughtered by Israel, needs to be brought to account by their electorate. For many, including the Labour leadership and the Conservatives, this will be too little too late, but even now it is better for them to show some humanity and vote unequivocally for ceasefire.
