Bolton man arrested for inciting racial hatred

Bolton man arrested for inciting racial hatred

Categories: Latest News

Monday May 27 2013

The Bolton News reports that a man has been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred after allegedly posting offensive comments on Facebook.

The comments were allegedly made in reaction to the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich, south London, on Wednesday.

Morris Green, 33, was arrested by Bolton South’s Neighbourhood Policing Team. He has been bailed until June 20, pending further inquiries

The arrest follows earlier revenge attacks in Bolton where the Masjid-e-Usman in Astley Street was vandalised with the words Islam = Evil daubed on its walls and a car parked nearby painted with the words ‘Terrorist Inside’.
