Lea Bridge Road Mosque Coffee Morning

Waltham Forest working group partnered up with the Women’s’ branch of Lea Bridge Road Mosque who regularly hold Coffee mornings in order to bring the women of the community together.
They had invited the working group to speak on why Islamophobia goes unreported and how we should react if we were to see hate crime. The volunteers from the group gave powerful speeches and imparted important advise.
The guests enjoyed sharing their experiences over coffee and cake and were ever grateful for the existence of MEND’s Islamophobia Response Unit.
