Citizens Video Journalism Training

Citizens UK collaborated with MEND to deliver this unique training session.

Hassan, one of the attendees summed up the experiences of the day.

“The event taught us the importance of journalism and film making. How effective of a tool filmmaking can be. How powerful social media is in our current day and age. How we can use all these tools to our favour. At the start of the session, Individuals had hardly any knowledge on these tools but by the end every person was able to film their own video and edit it on their phone with a limited amount of time and produce really good results. The event was very interactive, everyone left learning something new and were able to benefit and enjoy the event.”
