SUMMARY:Young Muslim Women’s Leadership Programme
DESCRIPTION:Invitation to join the Young Muslim Women’s Leadership Programme… \nWe offer a safe space for young Muslim women (13-18+) to come together and form friendships around exciting and necessary conversations on various topics related to being young\, female\, and Muslim. The programme is completely free and sessions will take place weekly on Monday from 2:00pm-3:00pm until December via Zoom. \nSessions will be focused on Critical Thinking\,  Analysis and Capacity Building. \nRegister interest at: tinyurl.com/yb44gfth \nDeadline to register is: 15th July 2020 \n  \nSessions will be run by Amina Shareef and Shazia Mahmood: \nAmina Shareef is a PhD student at the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on youth\, Muslim women\, and belonging. She has extensive experience working in the area of youth mentorship. She draws on her research and work experience to create alternative spaces of learning in which young females can develop and thrive as Muslims living in Britain. \nShazia Mahmood is certified therapist.  She draws of her work to help young people become confident and comfortable in their own identity. She is passionate about helping young Muslim women explore who they are whilst navigating through the challenges of life.
