DESCRIPTION:IAM….standing up to Islamophobia \nWe welcome you to join us for our special event to raise awareness of Islamophobia. \nCome and take part and share in our Open Mic Night session. Special performances from Ali the Muslim poet and many more spoken word artist. \nFor those who wish to perform on the night\, please register by clicking the link below. We want content relating to any form of prejudice or discrimination faced. We are looking for performers to share their stories by use of emotive language and heart felt stories. It can be song\, rap\, poetry\, a dramatic act\, spoken word and or comedy. Each performer if accepted will receive a 10 minute slot to perform their content of choice. \nPlease refrain from use of any political slogans or advocacy for any specific polity.
