DESCRIPTION:Come along and support our community teams uniting in a friendly knock-out football tournament in solidarity to stand against Islamophobia for Islamophobia Awareness Month 2019  #IAM2019 \nFour organisations will be playing it out for the IAM trophy.  MEND (Muslim Engagement and Development)\, Victim Support\, Cardiff University ISoc (Islamic Society) and South Wales Police. \nKick off will commence at 3.30pm with a knockout style tournament after speeches from community guests about why as a Cardiff community we can all be change-makers in advocating against Islamophbia #IAMCHANGE. \nThere will be no changing facilities at the venue\, so please come along in your sporting kit.  Stalls\, cake and refreshments will be provided so come along and cheer on your community for a good cause.

DESCRIPTION:November is Islamophobia Awareness Month and Al Manar Masjid’s ladies halaqa group will be hosting an insightful talk on the Causes and Cures of Islamophobia given by MEND who arrange hundreds of Islamophobia awareness events around the UK during November. \nThis presentation seeks to educate and inform about the causes of Islamophobia and how we can tackle it. With a 50% increase in religiously aggravated offences following Brexit\, it is vital that we equip ourselves with the knowledge to bring about change.
