DESCRIPTION:Try A Hijab \nOn Tuesday 12th November\, 12-2pm MEND will be in City Centre sharing the hijab experience with the people of Birmingham. \nThe purpose is to express solidarity towards women who feel afraid of being physically\, verbally attacked and discriminated because of their choice to wear a hijab. ‘Try a Hijab’ is symbolic of tolerance\, to show that we can be non-judgmental and accepting. It’s an act of compassion that can bring a smile to anyone. \nVisit the stall in city centre to experience and tap into the world of beautiful colourful scarfs\, worn in several different styles! Free hijab gift for those who try! Let us show our strength\, unity and love as women\, not divided and detached by attire and stereotypes.
