SUMMARY:The Riz Test
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Riz Ahmed’s 2017 diversity on screen speech in the House of commons and the Bechdel Test. The Riz Test seeks to quantify the extent to which films perpetuate negative stereotypes of Muslims as violent\, extreme or superstitious. Based on five criteria films either pass or fail the Riz Test. \nAs part of Islamophobia Awareness month\, the Riz Test team will presenting their workshop at the Manchester Museum\, followed by a panel discussion. \nCome along to find out more! \nEntry is free but please ensure that you’re registered.
