DESCRIPTION:Come along for an interactive discussion about the representation of Muslims in TV and Film. \nA MUST attend for those sick and tired of the negative portrayal of Muslims in TV and Film. \nInspired by Riz Ahmed’s 2017 diversity on screen speech in the House of commons and the Bechdel Test.  The Riz Test seeks to quantify the extent to which films perpetuate negative stereotypes of Muslims as violent\, extreme or superstitious.  Based on five criteria films either pass or fail the Riz Test. \nLimited parking is available locally. \nEntry Free\, book your place at the link below. \nContact: Leicester@mend.org.uk
