DESCRIPTION:EVILS OF RACISM IN ISLAM:  \nBy Shaykh Zahir Mahmood \nShaykh Zahir Mahmood will explore the prophetic injunctions in regards to racism and discrimination based on ethnicity\, economic status\, gender\, and societal position\, based on the verse; \n“People\, We created you all from a single man and a single woman\, and made you into races and tribes so that you should recognize one another. In God’s eyes\, the most honoured of you are the ones most mindful of Him: God is all knowing\, all aware.” Surah al-Hujurat (49:13) \nCoupled with the farewell sermon of the prophet ﷺ: \n“O people\, verily your Lord is One and your father is one. Verily there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab\, or of a white over a black\, or of a black over a white\, except in terms of taqwa.
